The youth national team of Ukraine (players born in 1994) during commemorative Victor Bannikov tournament defeated their peers from Belorus.

In Ukrainian national team line up, five of Donetsk Shakhtar «academicians» performed. The goalkeeper Artem Kulinich, spent full time in the game, having conceded only once on 78 minutes. The scoreline was 5:0 in Ukrainians’ favour, when the consolidation goal was scored by Belorus squad.

Defenders Igor Duts’, Oleksiy Chereda and midfielder Volodymyr Sadokha also stayed in the field for maximum time possible. Additionally, Sergiy Gryn' played 40 minutes, and was substituted later.

Thus, the youth national team of Ukraine became the leader in its group.
