Today two teams from FC Shakhtar Academy took on Donetsk Metalurh squads.

U-15 team finished their clash earlier. Anatoliy Skyrchuk and Genadiy Zubov’s boys were first to score in the derby - Myronyan was the author of the goal. The «Orange-and-blacks» acted in well-coordinated and correct manner, along with their opponents performing speedy football. However Shakhtar failed to keep the minimum score advantage. A goal was missed, and the principle clash finished in a draw – 1:1.

U-15 line up: Stavitskyy, Gladanyuk, Lavrynenko, Praslov, Rybalko (Sagaydak, 55), Tankovskyy (Gabelok, 55), Martsynyuk (Loschakov, 65), Myronyan (Adamenko, 55), Bilonig, Dvali (Ivanov, 55), Olenev (Dorokhov, 65).

Anatoliy Skyrchuk, U-15 head coach :

- The game turned out to be a good one. Both teams managed to demonstrate quite a good tempo in the summer heat conditions. In general, all the lines performed well. Maybe, in some episodes defenders were bit uncertain in their efforts, but on the whole, I am quite satisfied with the play. We have already solved all our task in the tournament, and the last match against Metalist, is also not important in terms of tournament results. Gradually we are preparing for the final part and try to work out the right playing combinations with the players.

Much more resultative, but also in a draw played two U-17 teams. Pitmen and Metallurgists shared the points, having loaded each other with three goals! The curious detail of this game was the fact that young Metallurh team had to win only, in order to exit to the final part.

A game unexpectedly turned out to be emotional one. As they say, a swing-like. On the second minutes Sergiy Lendel displaying his individual qualities, overplayed the defenders and sent a ball into the net. The opponents responeded with 31 minutes equalizing goal. In the opening minutes of second half the penalty kick was appointed at Metalurh goal, however Kulach failed to convert it. As often happens in football, the team which enjoyed the success once, scored again. Metalurh side hammered twice, and time of match flow down gradually.

But the match’ finishing part surpassed all the expectations and became a real nightmare for one team, and for the other it turned out as a reward for the courage displayed. On 80 minutes, Shakhtar’s defender Mykyta Rusanov unexpectedly dashed forward, and assisted by a partner, accurately shot, hitting the target. Practically no time left before the final whistle, but Pitmen in a minute surpressed the opponents and leveled the score. Lendel succeeded to poach the ball following the wing cross, performing a double – 3:3. Metalurh players fall down on the pitch in despair – the victory was lost, and with its loss, any chances to perform in the final fixture disappered.

U-17 line up: Shevchenko (Filipenko, 69), Tomakh, Rusanov, Kaganets, Tsyupa, Vakulenko, Nasimi (Martynyuk, 67), Malinovskiy (Snitsarev, 74), Akulinin (Zagorul'ko, 60), Kulach, Lendel.

Valeriy Rudakov, head coach U-17:

- A game turned out to be extremely dramatic one. Actually, nothing betokened such ending. We were lucky to score early first, further we possesed the advantage, but in the second half did not convert the penalty. Rusanov’s goal was really unexpected one for me. Naturally, in the dieying minutes we wished to press our rivals down. Boys rushed forward and secured a draw right before the whistle.
