The Shakhtar Football Academy has two training grounds at its disposal: Kirsha training centre is the ground for the age groups of the Professional Academy (U-14 U-21), the other one is situated in the centre of Donetsk next to the Shahtyor central stadium. The second training ground is for the Youth Academy (U-8 U-13).

There are 5 natural grass pitches and 1 Astroturf pitch at the Kirsha training camp. There is also a residential building and a medical centre.

And there are two football fields with artificial turf in the centre of the city where training sessions and matches are held.
