It is crucial that players could achieve their personal goals both in sports and in studies. Every player must receive secondary education. FC Shakhtar Academy also encourages and supports those players who wish to continue their education after school. The Club has a full time Study Coordinator who monitors players performance at school and who serves as a bridge between Academy coaches and educational establishments.

Study Coordinator is organising the general educational process for the recruits of the Academy. He maintains contact to the representatives of schools and colleges. He tailors trainings timetable to make it fit to the general studying process. He oversees Academy pupils successes in general study.

There must be a close contact between school and the Club; the coordinator pays regular visits to school and maintains close contact with school administration. He is well informed about all issues: school reports, possible problems, timetable of lessons, absence due to football activities, additional lessons etc.
